Ann Miller & Mike McCulloughAnnual Foundation Meeting Held
September 9, 2008
The annual meeting of the Coshocton Rotary Foundation was held at Noon on Tuesday, September 9th.  Mike McCullough presented financial information on the foundation from Hendley & Company, Inc.
 
During the past 10 years, the foundation has distributed $190,800 in grants.  Over $392,000 have been dispersed since the foundation was established in 1987.  As of 8/31/08 the Foundation's portfolio was worth $392,847.31.

Thank you to all that signed up Tuesday, particularly the people that signed up for all day manager and those that signed up for more than one shift.

We have several shifts still open.  The greatest need is "all day managers" for Friday 9/26, Tuesday 9/30, Thursday 10/2.  We also have ALL shifts open for Thursday 10/2.

The Fall Cookout will be held September 20th at Rainbow Hills.  Look for the sign up sheet at an upcoming meeting.  Cost: $32.00 per person.
 
The annual Rotary Christmas Party will take place on December 4th at 6pm at Raven's Glenn Winery.  Mark your Holiday Calendars now!
  
Ron LillibridgeCongrats to Ron Lillibridge for earning his BLUE name badge and getting banishing his RED badge.
 
Jack Beals' table claimed $36.00 in the weekly .333 drawing.  The original amount of $18.00 was doubled because Jack drew the lucky one-eyed Jack.  There was no winner in the big jackpot of $378.00
Phantom Files
Kathy Thompson was the Phantom on September 9th.  Ken Free was #3 followed by Tim France at #4.  The Phantom is a mystery greeter who secretly keeps track of who he/she shakes hands week.  The 3rd handshake victim of the Phantom receives a free lunch while the 4th pays a fine. 
 
Gearjammer G'News
Rotarians who participated in an online make-up meeting during the last 6 months were fine free on Tuesday.  All others paid $1.00.
