June 30th - Iiro Luomala was the guest speaker at the weekly meeting of the Coshocton Rotary Club on June 30th.  Luomala is a short-term exchange student from Finland.

 

Last Tuesday's meeting also marked the final meeting as club president for Jason Given.  Thank you Jason for your service to the club!  Given also thanked the club board of directors for their efforts over the past year.  He is making a $25.00 contribution to the Rotary Foundation in the name of each board member.

 

Guests: Mike and James Truett (son and grandson of Dan Truett).  Allie Davis (guest of Heather Guess).

 

Phantom: Steve Miller; Bill Given was #3 followed by Jason Given at #4.  The Phantom is a mystery greeter.  The 3rd handshake of the Phantom receives a free lunch while the 4th pays a fine.

 

The weekly drawing was worth $12.00.  There was no winner in the big jackpot for $248.00.

 

July 7th - Start of the 2009-10 Rotary Calendar.  Today will be Doug Marmie's first official meeting as club president.
