Rotary Program Review
by Barb Emmons
December 8th
- Speaker: Paul Prater, AEP.  Topic: Service Reliability and Storm Restoration through AEP.

AEP has 45 power plants in 11 states.  Some outages are automatically reported, however you should call if you have an outage at your home.  To prepare for outages AEP utilizes forecasts, has conference calls, standby crews, and outside resources.  Causes of outages include wind, lightning, rain, animals, trees, vandalism, and equipment failure, and ice, by far ice their worst nightmare.

*Christmas Party is Dec. 15th at 6 P.M. at Armory--59 members are signed up.  Dress is VERY casual.  Bring your own beverage.  Papa John's is providing pizza and various Rotarians will provide salads and dessert (The party also counts as a makeup).
*Our regularly scheduled meeting on Dec. 15th will be a roundtable only at the Country Club.  No program, just lunch (you will be charged for lunch.  (Round tables count as a makeup).
*Members are still needed to ring the bell for Salvation Army on Dec. 19th at Buehler's.  Call Shelley Lillibridge. (counts as makeup)
*Someone has walked off with Don Tupper's name badge.  If you happen to have it please return before he gets a fine.

Makeups-thanks to Heather Klesch for her online makeup.
